The ride quality you deserve, without losing the convenience of a truck! From 1965-1979 F100, our chassis is for you!
Built for Performance. Designed for Simplicity.
F Series Design Co. specializes in high-performance F100 chassis engineered with factory-style build technology. Our chassis is designed to bolt directly to your F100 body with only minor fabrication required at the cab corners—and best of all, you can keep your original bed floor.
Did you and your son or daughter inherit Grandpa's old F100 short bed? Maybe it has sentimental value, but the original chassis leaves a lot to be desired. If it runs and drives poorly, we've built the solution you've been searching for.
Simply bolt Grandpa's F100 body onto our chassis, choose the engine and transmission combination that fits your vision, and enjoy the classic truck you love with modern performance, handling, and reliability.
Our chassis is engineered with ride quality, serviceability, and convenience in mind. If a suspension component ever needs replacing, you won't be hunting for hard-to-find specialty parts. Just visit your local auto parts store, pick up the replacement, and get back on the road.
At F Series Design Co., we're committed to building chassis that combine classic styling with modern engineering. Every chassis is designed to deliver exceptional safety, durability, performance, and craftsmanship—so you can spend more time driving your F100 and less time working on it.
We start with a conventional Panther platform from a 2003–2011 Crown Victoria chassis. Each frame is placed on our dedicated chassis table, where it is carefully inspected, aligned, and corrected to ensure it meets our standards before any modifications begin.
The first step is removing 4 inches from the frame above the rear axle housing. We then reconstruct and reinforce this section using heavy-wall mild steel tubing. This modification allows you to install a short bed without cutting the annoying "hump" in the bed floor between the wheel tubs.
Next, we relocate the upper and lower control arms inside the frame rails, allowing clearance for rear wheel and tire combinations up to 12 inches wide without requiring wheel tub modifications. But what good is the extra clearance if you're still forced to run excessive wheel backspacing? That's why we take it a step further by narrowing the Ford 8.8 rear axle housing, giving you the ability to run a deeper-dish rear wheel while maintaining proper fitment.
Every chassis comes equipped with 31-spline aftermarket axles, new rear disc brakes with a parking brake, and custom heavy-wall tubing upper and lower control arms featuring greaseable heavy-duty rod ends. These components are built to handle serious horsepower, making them an excellent choice if you plan to install a supercharged Coyote engine in your build.
Up front, we retain the proven Panther platform K-member and equip it with a new power rack-and-pinion steering system, along with all-new brakes and front suspension components for dependable handling, performance, and reliability.
Experienced professionals dedicated to your success.
Proven results that speak for themselves.
